Anne Becker Olins

Global Chief Design & Technical Services Officer, Ultra Luxury and Luxury, Accor

Anne holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Cologne. After starting her career as an architect in Germany in 1994, she was part of the Technical Office at the World Exposition 2000 in Hannover, before moving into Hospitality Consultancy when she joined AccorHotels Germany in 2001 to become Director of New Construction. In this role, she led Technical Services and a team of architects and designers, advising external consultants and investors across a wide range of brands.

Anne left AccorHotels in 2006 to join Hyatt International in Zurich, where she became Director of Architecture and Design, then Vice President of Technical Services for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In early 2013, she moved to Chicago where she was named Vice President of Product and Brand Development at Hyatt Hotels headquarters. Before re-joining Accor in 2018, Anne was General Manager of Peninsula Hotels in Hong Kong responsible for the design development of Peninsula Yangon, Istanbul and London.

In her current position as Global Chief Officer Design & Technical Services, Anne is broadening her expertise in the field of hotel architecture and interior design across Accor’s Ultra Luxury & Luxury brands globally, staying closely connected to industry leaders. Her career path has allowed her to gain a more holistic view on design trends, brand positioning and hospitality in the future.
