Max Ma

Max Ma serves as the Director of Accor Design and Technical Services (D&TS) for Singapore and the Philippines. In this role, he is responsible for spearheading the development of over 30 hotels, resorts, and branded residences within the region. Since joining Accor in 2017, Max has worked closely with both the Development and D&TS teams to deliver best-in-class products and ensure a greater return on investment for each project, in alignment with market competition and brand standards.

Prior to his six-year tenure at Accor, Max amassed a wide range of experience in architecture, urban planning, and design research. He has worked with established design firms such as Pencil Office, Eco-id Architects, and government institutions like the DesignSingapore Council (DSG). He is also part of the curatorial and design team behind the creation of “1000 SINGAPORES”, the exhibition that officially represented Singapore at the 12th Venice Architecture Biennale.

Max holds both a BA and a Master in Architecture from the National University of Singapore.
