Steven Burgos

Steven Burgos, NCIDQ, IIDA, Assoc. AIA, is a Senior Associate and Director of Design, Interiors in HOK’s Miami Studio. HOK is a global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm, with 1,600 people collaborating across 26 offices on three continents.

Over the past 15 years, he has worked on a variety of project types, resulting in award winning, high performing spaces that help people feel productive, engaged, and happy. His experience in both hospitality and workplace environments have allowed him to cross pollinate thought leadership in each space type, resulting in dynamic, carefully curated experiences.

Prior to joining HOK in 2022, Steven was a Design Director at Gensler, having designed projects such as the Thesis Hotel and Residences in Coral Gables and Aloft Miami Dadeland.

Steven is an active member of the design community, and is a part of IIDA, NEWH, and AIA. He recently served as a board member and past president of IIDA’s South Florida Chapter.
